I have never heard of this event before. Is it nation wide? My niece has diabetes, she was diagnosed at 2 years old. They run a walk in her area every year.
Looks like fun!
What a great event! I hope they have a huge turnout and that everyone remembers to bring their own basketball!!
Thanks. Wish I could partcipate. I have a ton of diabetes in the family and I hear that one of the best ways to get those Michele Obama arms is to dribble basketballs. I would love to have that much fun......Good luck.
Both of my parents are diabetics, they have to monitor their diet very closely and test their blood sugar. This sounds like a fun event and I hope they have a lot of participation.
Good luck with this one. Please take a pic and share
Theresa, what a GREAT post on the event in Denver. Would you like me to repost? I hope that you get all 5,000 people
Bridget: I think each team comes up with their own event to raise funds.
Terrie: I hope so too. My son is excited about going.
Sandy: PLEASE DO....The more the better! Thank you!!!
Suzanne: I do have to say she does have nice arms. I doubt she'll ever have a problem with the flabby arms!!
Ann: I hope so too. With it being something new around here I am sure it will be a HUGE success!
Paddy: Thank you and I am sure this will do well, with it being something new...
Teresa, what a fun event! I hope you get in the world records books AND raise awareness for a great cause!

That's definitely an unusual event. I hope it turned out well, both in terms of participants and moneyh raised.
So how did this event turn out? That had to be kind of noisy with that many basketballs bouncing at once. Are there any pictures?
Teresa, I have never heard of this event before. That is alot of basketballs!
