Andy Warhol was the central figure of the Pop Art Movement/Pop Culture the emerged in the 1950’s in the United States. Although most known for his paintings Warhol was also known for his prolific and controversial film career and became a renowned celebrity whose life was often one of controversy. Today, Warhol is acclaimed as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century is legendary.  

The exhibition features approximately 60 selections from various Warhol portfolios from the Bank of America Collection. Among the portfolios are the Endangered Species Portfolio, the Flowers Portfolio, the Myths Portfolio, the Muhammad Ali Portfolio, and the Space Fruits Portfolio.

Valerie: Thanks for stopping by! I haven't seen any of his work in person but I did study about him while taking art classes in college. I really need to take my son to see this too.
