Hahaha great post:) "...your cats have email adresses." My friend has an email address for her cat...priceless;p
DJ: Thanks for coming by! Pretty cool...people think a lot about their pets.
Teresa: I love it! I will only admit to two of them and I adore my Charlotte! I DO move over in the bed for her and I do pull up another chair when she is in 'mine'--after all, what's mine is hers and don't you forget it! ;-)
OK I got zero points guess thats why dogs out number people in our house..
Our cat Jake is an old fashion barncat. He was given to me at only 4 weeks old and is so smart but mean. He attacts our dog Lucy everyday and we had to get both front and back declawed because he was biting my kids. He's very funny - just stay out of his face.
We used to have some wonderful guys -- but they have all passed on to kitty-heaven.
Great post Teresa and I really miss having pets. Living in Las Vegas with my busy schedule, it's very difficult for me to own a pet. Very cute and creative post!
Really, cute. my person cat ratio is 1 to 1. And I do use my cats names for all of my passwords. Someitmes I combine them. I am forwarding this to all of my catty friends!!!
Debe: Thanks for your comment! Charlotte is soooo lucky to have a mommy like you, and I am sure as you are reading this comment you are thinking maybe so but I am soooo lucky to have her. Pets are incrediable.. Happy Hump-Day!!
Eric: Thanks for your comment too! I have to admit we lost our 14+ year old cat last year. She came to our house as a stray so we really didn't know when her birthday was, but she was precious... her name was HobieCat. Have a great day!!
LaNita: Sounds like Jake is a rouster! Since he is declawed it's good to know that he can stand his ground. We had to have Hobie declawed in the front because she would use our door facings to sharpen her claws. We had quite a mess for a little while. We got her, her own scratch pole and she would look at it like, "Are you kidding me, I'm not using that thing". We tried everything except removing all door facings (and who can do that, it's our house... our home). It's really funny though that even without the claws they learn how to use their paws just as well as if they still had their claws. Have a great day!!
Bob: Thanks for your comment! That is the hardest part about having a pet, the end. They put their heart out for you and you put your heart out for them and their time here is really short. Have a great day!
Robert: Thanks for your comment too! Yes, in your situation it is best to do like you are doing. Trust me I respect your decision. Maybe someday when you have time to slow down a bit, maybe you will have some time to share. As my grandfather (who was a farmer in Ohio) use to say, "You have to make hay while the sun is still shinning", so I take it 'our sun' is still shinning! Have a great day, in Vegas!!
Jane: Thanks for your comment too! Since I do not have a cat right now, I do tend to use our dogs names for ids and pws. Have a great day!!
Teresa.. I know now that I am DEFINITELY a DOG lover. NOT ONE of the above applies to me.
Does not apply to me either! My husband "CLAIMS" to be allergic to cats but that has never been pr-oven. We have dogs so I cannot complain to much.
Very cute reasons for being a cat lover. Good blog.
;>)
As a cat lover, they are all pretty much on target, but I love #2 & #3!
I believe I am guilty of just about everything there. My cat definitely thinks she owns the bed...between her and my husband I am lucky to be on the bed.
Valerie: Thanks for coming by!! Your too funny... Have a great day!!!!!
I AM GETTING SO MANY ERRORS WHEN I RESPOND, I WILL TRY TOMORROW...
Teresa,
I sent you the CUTEST card in the mail when you posted this but I used the address on your website and it came back in the mail as "no receptical". SO SAD! I called your office and got your mailing address instead and will get it back in the mail today. Watch for a little sunshine coming your way.
:)
