Are you ready to wander around a seven acre cornfield with approximately two and a half miles of pathways in a working cornfield? The Amazing Maize Maze at Rural Hill Farm in Huntersville, North Carolina is opening for their 7th season. The maze is an exciting adventure for families, friends, and groups to experience and explore. By working together you can explore the paths and solve the clues to make it through the maze.
Throughout the maze cool water is available and concessions are also available on site. The maze is designed to be navigated in 1-2 hours. Be sure to wear sunscreen and appropriate clothing , and shoes. Strollers and wagons are permitted. Handicap accessible restroom facilities are available.
Each season a theme is selected, one that represents the historical relevance of Rural Hill. This year's theme is the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights. Before you start your journey you will receive instructions from the First United States Congress regarding the rules and tools of this new frontier. James Madison is at the Victory Bridge (which you will pass over upon completion) to help travelers in need and at the maze tower, Thomas Jefferson is available to point you in the right direction. This year’s design of the maze offers symbols within such as spectacles, a quill pen, ink well, and the Constitution Scroll with “We the People” written on it.

Teresa,
I have never actually been in a maze although I have seen a few from the highway. This sounds really neat. How do they create it without making a mess?
Steve
Steve: Thanks for coming by! That's a great question and I have no idea. I do know that the more people that goes through the more everything gets patted down. Maybe someone out here can answer your question. Take care!
Hi Teresa, This sounds really interesting, I might have to check it out.. Of course, maybe we will have lunch plans before that !! THANKS again for looking for me !! God bless,
I live in Monroe and not to far. It would be interesting to see this. We have a small one down in Union County.
Cheryl:Thanks for reading this post! Have you ever done a maze? I think it would be fun but then I don't know if I could handle it. I'm somewhat claustrophobic... Your the BEST... take care!!
Judi: Thanks for coming by! Huntersville and Monroe isn't too far only about an hour (depending on traffic)! I attended Wingate College (well now it's a university now) in 1979. Was just in your neck of the woods a few weeks back, on the way to Myrtle Beach! Take care!
Teresa, We have a corn Maze in Here is Temecula, In the wine country but not until Mid October!!!
Jane: Thanks for coming by! It seems like a lot of places have these mazes. Do you blog about some of your winery's? I will go by your blog and see. Take care!
