Mack Truck, Inc. is on the Move!

Good News for Greensboro, NC . . .
Mack Truck, Inc., the heavy-duty truck maker presently based in Allentown, PA is moving their headquarters to Greensboro, NC. The move is projected to take about three years. The move will allow Mack Trucks to join fellow Volvo Group subsidiary Volvo Trucks North America in Greensboro.
This move is projected to bring nearly 500 jobs and invest almost $18 million in North Carolina. In return North Carolina is providing a grant which includes $8.5 million in benefits if Mack creates its 493 promised jobs and sustains them for nine years.
Jobs will include information technology, parts logistics, and purchasing.
What a great addition to the Greensboro area and Guilford County and the possiblity of selling more houses!
