Yes, today was a day of surprises for me, good surprises! Don't you just LOVE days like
that? One I blogged about earlier tonight titled "A Horse With No Name". The other surprise was that I got my first phone call from someone that read my blog from an Active Rain post, that I wrote last week. So yes blogging does work. It just takes a little time and thought but it is so worth it. I can't wait to see what the future will bring . . . Life is Good in the RAIN!

Hey Randy: Thanks for stopping by as well! I really joined AR back in January and really didn't do anything other than join. Then in March someone from my office noticed that I was a member of AR. A few weeks later (with nothing much to do, can you believe that) I started to read a lot of people's posts. The amount of information out here is incredible. Also what is incredible is the amount of people that are willing to share so much about their businesses. There just isn't anyway you could learn this much in books. It wasn't until the end of June that I wrote and posted my first blog. Writing to me really doesn't come that easy either, so every blog I create takes hours (well I think this one is my shortest one yet; this probably took an hour). They are labor of loves. I love writing about where I live and about real estate as a whole. Take care!

You are the second one I have read tonight that received their first lead. That must be a great feeling, and I am so looking forward to getting my first call. Although, I must admit, I enjoy reading and learning so much from AR, a lead would almost be secondary at this point.
