Okay, now I am going to show my age.... I have heard the song, "A Horse With
No Name" by America heck it was a hit in the early 70's, but have you heard of, "A Gift With No Name?" I must admit that I really love doing things for people anonymously and today someone got one over on me. Today, while in the office, I received an envelope with a typed note inside, "Teresa, Thank you for all your help!" Also, inside was a $50.00 Shell gas card. I looked back on the envelope to see if there was a return address or better yet a name and there was none, nothing. I looked on the card that was attached to the gas card to see the To: and From: and there was none, nothing. So here I am sitting and wondering who could this be from. Oh, in the past I have had the occasional plant delivered to the office as a thank you from a client but I have never had someone give me something like this without a name . . . "A Gift With No Name".
Now I am wondering if the giver realizes that they are anonymous to me? I hope it wasn't a mistake leaving off their name. Gee, I hope that I won't offend the sender for not sending them a thank you card or failing to mention it while talking to them the next time.
So who ever it may be, I hope they know that it was a pleasant surprise . . . . . . . in fact it made me smile and made my day, "A Gift With No Name" was sent to me today!!
